Filling system for our firefighting backpacks
Filling system is made in Czech Republic, in our factory and with our hands.
We have more than 20 years experiences in manufacturing of the firefighting backpacks.
As manufacturer we provide warranty and post-warranty service including the supply of spare parts.
The filling system allows you to easily fill our firefighting backpacks directly on your back in the field. For filling is used water from a vehicle or, for example, our ST series water tanks with a motor pump.
The filling system is connected to the water source via a D coupling. The filling hose is terminated with a quick-connect coupling's plug, just like the end of the handheld pump of the firefighting backpack. The firefighting backpack is equipped with a quick-connect coupling at the end of its hose for quick switching between filling and handheld pump. Therefore, no assist is required for filling. The quick-connect coupling is one-way - no water will leak out of the backpack when unfastened.
The filling hose can be equipped with a ball valve with a D coupling or only a D coupling - this is if the water source is equipped with a ball valve with a D coupling. The ball valve can also be purchased separately. This is in case several firefighting backpacks are filled from one motor pump, which is not equipped with a ball valve as standard.
The filling system can be ordered directly with the firefighting backpack. In this case, the firefighting backpack is already equipped with a quick-connect coupling at the factory. If you purchase a filling system for an older firefighting backpack, you must also order a quick-connect coupling.
